Black Lagoon Review

All good things must come to an end, and so we close out Paint It Black month with a DOUBLE request; yes, when we mentioned we were doing Paint It Black month, we got a request from Runixzan and Paranormal Rob, and Yerocha also mentioned being surprised we hadn't included it in the initial list. With that much hype, and the fact that it's about modern day pirates, this has to be good, right? Right?

Edit: In the video, I call requester Runixzan a woman.  He is not.  I'm not sure why I thought what I thought; I am so sorry for that.

Black Jack Review

Paint It Black Month moves ahead full steam after last week's debacle!

He's baaaaack. That's right, Yerocha is guest starring again to review the anime Black Jack, based on the classic manga by Osamu Tezuka. Was this series in good health or on life support? Listen to find out!

Note: in the podcast, I say that we have a commercial break in the middle that you can go to to avoid too many spoilers.  If you can't see the break (a black dot in the progress bar), the spoilers end at time stamp 30:10.

For more of Yerocha, be sure to check out http://shadesofgreymanga.wordpress.com/.

Black Blood Brothers Review

In Black Blood Brothers, we see what happens when a writer creates a series using the Mad Lib Method.  I've used it myself.  Is Black Blood Brothers better than that time I wrote the story about Butthead, the legendary roadkill warrior who had to rescue his iguana Steve from the evil Green Party Zombies?  You'll just have to watch the review to find out.

Announcement: Paint It Black Month

This June, the Five Point Podcast will review four shows. What do they have in common? By amazing coincidence, the word Black is in all of their titles. Hey, I've heard of flimsier justifications for a theme month.

Enjoy as we cover the well known, the obscure and one bizarre show based on the work of... ROGER CORMAN. There will be...

Crossovers!
Vampires!
Surgeons!
Child Abuse!
And more!
The Schedule:

6/3: Black Blood Brothers (Request from Angel of the Wolf)
6/10: Black Heaven (Request from Angel of the Wolf)
6/17: Black Scorpion (Request from Legendmaker) (Guest star Legendmaker)
6/24: Black Jack (Guest star Yerocha)
