Beast King Go Lion Review

To bring Mecha Month into full swing (after our April Fools debacle... ugh.), we start off with Beast King Go Lion or, as it's called in America, Voltron: Defender of the Universe.  We selected this show because we wanted to see what they'd changed.

... how can two shows be so similar, yet so completely different?

You'll just have to watch to find out.

  1. FYI, the beasts in Go-Lion weren't called "Black Death Beasts," but rather the even more comically unsubtle (and perhaps less racist) "Deathblack Beastmen." Hmm, while I suppose that's less racist, it isn't less sexist. I mean, where are all the Deathblack Beastwomen? Were they told to stay in the Deathblack Beastkitchen?

    ...

    I'm overthinking this, aren't I?

    1. Thanks for the correction; it proves that someone is paying attention. Minor flubs like that are the risk we run with our mostly on-the-fly review style.

Also considering the enormous nipple drills on that Deathblack Beastman... that might be your Beastwoman right there.
